I use yahoo messengers chatrooms for chatting. Are there any other accessible ones out there. Anf for the people if any who use yahoo messenger 7.0 are there scripts or shortcut keys? Thanks in advance for all replys.
Msn messenger and aim. As far as scrips go for yahoo, jaws7 has built in scrips that work pretty good. Jaws also has built in scrips for the other two I mentioned.

well since the subject of chat rooms has been brought up, has anyone used the chat room on eyes 2 eyes? when the site admin put it up, It didn't seem very accessible with jaws, and that was on my old computer, but I think the inaccessibility is a jaws thing rather than an xp issue. I've never heard anyone say anything about ever being in the room

troy, tell me some of the leys with yahoo messenger how once i get in a chatroom do i go to the message list where everyone is posting. i have never used eyes to eyes except once and did not like it.

What happened to for the people? Is that place still around? They had a pretty busy chat system and a rainbow room. Hey, has anyone used paltalk?
OMG, lol, I just revisited for the people, and gall has that place grown! They have a ton of rooms! And Cookies, if it suits you, there are like 3 or 4 glbt rooms now. There is also a schedule of events and activities for all sorts of tastes and fun! Hmmm, maybe I should give that place another go...lol!

I'm not even sure if it's there anymore cookies, the admin posted a link to it, and I went in there, but noone was in there, and it looked hard to work with jaws. I couldn't find it on the main eyes 2 eyes site, but will look for it again and let you know. Also, paltalk is a chat program with rooms and you can put people on your pal list, but it's not too accessible with jaws anymore, and unless you pay, they have a lot of pop up ads which upsets jaws, because it keeps focussing on them.

J, in yahoo messenger chat rooms you go to tools i think then chatrooms and jaws will speak the content automatically.

mmm... I tried aim chat rooms once, didn't like it. I never used yahoo before, cuz I'm running win 98. and, I can't use msn because I'm running win 98. freedom chat, it sucks big time.
hmmm i cant click the dumb button to enter the room with jaws didnt know msn worked with jaws and well fc no one interesting anymore and paltalk sucks in general and others are not worth it i think chat is kinda dying out anymore. I may try ftp but when i used to go there no one came out
I never found paltalk to be all that great. Between it not being all that accessible, and people coming into the rooms harassing whoever happened to be there the majority and hogging the key so nobody could talk; I just got tired of it altogether.
